-Program Period:  July 9th – July 27th, 2018 (July 8^th: Arrival day / July 28^th: Departure day)

-Location: Dongseo University is located in Busan, Korea. Participants should arrive in and depart from Busan (most likely at Gimhae International Airport or Busan Train Station).

-Schedule:  Program details can be found on the website.

-Courses and credits:  Students should take two courses and earn 4 credits through the program. Dongseo University will issue a transcript for each student showing their level of achievement. Because all courses at ASP 2018 will be taught in English, a sufficient level of English proficiency is expected for participants.

-Course Registration: Students should refer to the information about courses at the website. In the application form, they should choose one course from Group A (taught from 9:30 to 12:00) and one course from Group B (taught from 13:30-16:00). We expect courses to have between 15-20 students each. Given the number of students participating and their various preferences, it may not be possible to assign every student his or her first choice. As a result, we request that students rank their top-10 choices in Group A and top-10 choices in Group B. They should write numbers (1,2,3,…, 9,10) in the blank for each Group in the application form. This will help us to assign them their most preferred available course. The course assignments will be made on a first-come-first-served basis, so students who submit their application forms early will have the best chance of being assigned their highest ranked courses. In the event that too few students list a given course among their preferences, the course will be cancelled. Students assigned to a course that is cancelled will be reassigned to their next course choice.

-Program Registration:  To join the ASP, students should submit a completed application form to a representative at their home university, who may assess each student’s suitability for the program. In the “Registration #’ box (page 1) of the application form, please write the order in which applications are received. The application forms should then be sent together to DSU by e-mail (international@dongseo.ac.kr) by a representative of the home university. Please note that we don’t accept students’ personal applications.

-Registration Fee:  800 USD (This covers tuition, class materials, airport pick-up and drop-off, three week’s dormitory accommodations, three meals each weekday, and program-related activities)

-Fee Payment:  Participants should deposit their registration fee into an account of their home university. DSU will provide banking information to the home university so that the fees collected may be sent together to an account of DSU. This procedure reduces the banking fees incurred through the international transfer of funds.

-Optional Tour: Participants can sign up for an optional one-day tour on Saturday, July 21^st, for an additional fee of 100 USD. This tour includes Gimhae Gaya Theme Park and Lotte Water Park as well as lunch at a Korean traditional restaurant

-Arrival and Departure Dates: Participants should arrive in Busan on July 8^{th ,} (Sunday), and depart from Busan on July 28^th (Saturday). Accommodation will be provided from July 8^th to 28^th., and pick-up and drop-off services will be provided on those two days. The dormitory situation at DSU makes it difficult to extend the period of stay. After submitting their application forms, participants are urged to quickly reserve their flight tickets.

-Deadlines:  Application deadline: April 10^th, 2018 ; Deadline for registration fee payment: May 31th, 2018

-Visa:  A Tourist Visa is the simplest type to receive for the Republic of Korea. We request that participants consult the Korean Embassy nearest them regarding the visa application procedure. If an invitation letter is required for the visa application, Dongseo University will send one to participants who have paid their registration fee.
