An online meeting was held by GDUFS and Broward College of the United States on the morning of September 30th. School leaders of both sides had a courteous meeting and discussed plans for further cooperation. Jiao Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, and Dr. David Moore, Vice President of Broward College, attended the meeting.

Jiao Fangtai gave a detailed introduction to GDUFS’s unique talent training programs and international achievements. Jiao mentioned that, as a major internationalized university, GDUFS is committed to cultivating high-quality talents with an international vision. Currently, it has 28 foreign language majors and has established cooperative relations with 481 universities and institutions from 60 countries and regions. With an excellent educational environment, a high level of international communication, impressive cooperation projects and a strong international faculty, the university is confident about its cooperative projects with international universities. On behalf of GDUFS, Jiao expressed his vigorous support for the program and his expectation that the two sides can continue to collaborate in different fields.
Dr. David Moore praised the achievements of GDUFS. He said that the key to successful cooperation between universities is having an appropriate partner, which GDUFS certainly is. He expressed his best wishes for cooperation between the two sides. His goals include strengthening negotiation in the post-pandemic era, promoting various tasks and making the program a bridge to benefit more students.
Relevant officials from the International Office of and the International College Center for Foreign Language Training attended the meeting.
